Chelsea continued their impressive run in their 2018-19 Premier League season with a 3-2 win over Arsenal at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday, August 18.
Pedro Rodriguez put the Blues ahead just nine minutes into the game after benefiting from a Marcos Alonso's square play from the left flank.
Alvara Morata doubled his side's lead in the 20th minute of the fixture with a superb assist frpm Spanish wing back Cesar Azpilicueta.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan reduced Arsenal's deficit in the 37th minute after powering home a lose ball from Super Eagles attacker Alex Iwobi.
And just four minutes later, the Nigeria international leveled parity for the Gunners in the 41st minute after benefiting from a Mkhitaryan's assist. As both sides shared the spoil in the first 45 minutes of the minute.
The two teams returned to the pitch for the remainder of the game but didn't do much until later in the game as Marcos Alonso grabbed the winner for the hosts nine minutes from time through an Eden Hazard's assist.
Their victory means they maintain 100% record in the EPL after the second week, while Arsenal remain winless in their first two matches.
Maurizio Sarri's men will travel to Saint James' Park for their next encounter as Arsenal welcome West Ham United to the Emirates Stadium as they search for their first win of the season.
