Watch Jon Jones admit it ‘would be funny’ to hang Daniel Cormier crying photo in his house
There’s no love lost between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier, but Jones decided to have a little fun at Cormier’s expense — although he didn’t go all the way with it.
The current UFC heavyweight champion and Cormier had a heated rivalry for many years, which included two fights in the octagon. After Jones won a decision in their first meeting at UFC 182 in January 2013, they would run it back at UFC 214 over four years later. This time, Jones knocked out Cormier with a head kick — which was then overturned to a no contest after Jones failed a drug test — which led to an emotional reaction from Cormier.
In an Instagram story on Thursday, Jones had a friend hang a photo of Cormier crying in the octagon, but then revealed he wouldn’t keep it there. Watch the video below.

“That is hilarious,” Jones said. “All fun and games, guys. That’s not really going up there, but that would be funny.”
Jones recently defended his heavyweight title for the first time with a lopsided finish of Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November. As for Cormier, he’s living the good life as one of the UFC’s top color commentators after also being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
