BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty has perfect response after vile troll calls her the C-word in expletive rant
BBC BREAKFAST fans were impressed by Naga Munchetty’s perfect response when a vile troll took to social media to call her a nasty expletive.
The X user posted his rant in response to a clip of the presenter calling Boris Johnson a useless tosser, after the former Prime Minister said abusive messages are part of the parliamentary creative process.
The troll went on an angry tirade saying: “It is well known inside and outside of the media circuit that Naga is a total c***.”
The 48-year-old presenter rose to the situation with grace and poise, responding with the perfect comeback.
She joked: “I must ask my (obviously very few) friends to stop talking to strangers…”
Supportive fans flocked to the comments to hit out at the sexist behaviour of the tweeter.
Welsh broadcaster Carol Vorderman wrote: “Ah, the old misogynists are out in force…. again… gets dull after a while doesn’t it? Sending best.”
Academic researcher Evelyn Scott agreed: “Ahh, misogyny at its finest. Keep doing what you’re doing, Naga! You’re an inspiration!”
A third added: “Sad old Bob. Spitting out bile for his sad (few) followers. Loved you on Friday’s HIGNFY. Brilliant as always.”
This was in reference to the BBC Breakfast star hosting the latest episode of Have I Got News For You.
Viewers were impressed by her performance in the role and have begged for her to become a permanent presenter on the show.
