Inside Coronation Street’s wild Christmas party with George Michael impersonator, drunk selfies and very glam stars
CORRIE’S best loved stars were out in force over the weekend for the soap’s annual festive extravaganza.
The cast took over Fenix Bar and Restaurant in Manchester and partied until the early hours.
The star-studded bash featured plenty of booze, canapes and a George Michael impersonator.
Telly favourite Andy Whyment, 42, who plays Kirk, seemed to be a really big fan and even got on the microphone himself.
He also shared lots of pictures from the party as he posed up with his co-stars, including Jack P. Shepherd, Colson Smith, Alan Halsall and Warren Jackson.
Other snaps showed Sally Webster actress Sally Dynevor, as well as Jennie McAlpine and Mikey North.
Andy told his followers: “Had such a great night @coronationstreet Christmas party.
“And had the privilege to sing with the best George Michael tribute act I’ve ever seen he was incredible!”
Sally commented on his post: “Such a great night. Well done Andy you were both fabulous xxxx.”
And Colson affectionately wrote: “That’s my wombat.”
Lucy Fallon, Tina O’Brien, Tanisha Gorey and Channique Sterling-Brown looked stunning as they posed together.
Bethany Platt actress Lucy opted for a simple yet stunning navy velvet blazer dress.
She completed the look with knee high socks and bow tie heels.
Her on-screen mum Tina, who plays Sarah Platt, opted for a red glitzy bandeau mini dress with a huge red bow on it.
Asha Alahan star Tanisha looked incredible in a tight brown midi dress with strappy heels.
