US author and film-maker Paul Auster dies aged 77
The writer, who completed more than 30 books, translated into dozens of languages, had been diagnosed with cancer in 2022.
Paul Auster, a prolific, prize-winning man of letters and film-maker known for such inventive narratives and meta-narratives as The New York Trilogy and 4 3 2 1, has died at the age of 77.
