Democrat Pat Fahy wins New York's 46th State Senate District
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Democrat Pat Fahy has won the race for New York's 46th State Senate District. The Associated Press has called the race for Fahy over Republican Ted Danz Jr.
New York's 46th State Senate District includes Montgomery County and parts of Albany and Schenectady Counties.
In her candidate interview with NEWS10, Fahy said that the district needs to address crime and bail reform. Fahy has served in the State Assembly since 2012.
Danz's platform also prioritized crime and bail reform. In Danz's candidate interview with NEWS10, he said, if elected, he would address immigration in New York and aim to improve the state's economy and education.
