Keep reading to find out more…“Every mom I can guarantee is doing the best they can,” Kaley told E! News. “Look, everyone’s got something to say about everything. There’s no change before I had kids, to having kids, to where I am in my life.”
“It’s just this business, it’s this life,” Kaley added. “It is what it is. But yeah, we got to stop at the shaming.”
Kaley went on to say that she knows that she and Tom, 42, are giving Matilda a great childhood, noting that she’s “the happiest kid in the world” with so much “love around her.”
“I just feel like every kid is so different,” she continued. “What’s good for your kid might not be good for mine.”
Kaley then talked about her daughter’s screen time, joking that Matilda “just watched like, seven movies on HBO. Yeah, she’s watching Game of Thrones when I get home.”
However, Kaley has noticed that Matilda cares less about screen time with the more she watches. “I think that’s the trick,” Kaley said.
Also in the interview, Kaley said that she’s already prepared for Matilda to follow in her parents’ footsteps and get into the entertainment industry when she gets older.
“I don’t know how this child will not be an actress,” Kaley said. “I mean, it’s an acting family.”
She continued,”We’ve been through all the ups and downs, and that girl is a performer. There’s no way she’s not going to perform.”
If you missed it, Peacock recently debuted the trailer for season 2 of Kaley‘s series Based on a True Story, which will be released on November 21!
