Scotia woman charged for alleged child sex abuse images
SCOTIA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Scotia woman is accused of allegedly possessing child sex abuse images. New York State Police said Sierra L. Cook, 27, was charged on Friday, November 15.
Police said they found images in Cook's home in Scotia on Friday when serving a search warrant. The investigation began after police received a cyber tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
NYSP said they arrested Cook in 2022 for showing child sex abuse images to a student while she was a bus aid. Cook was processed at the State Police barracks in Princetown and given an appearance ticket for Scotia Village Court on Thursday, December 5.
