I drove TWO HOURS to the UK’s biggest B&M – there was so much to buy people were gasping at my haul, it was so worth it
A B&M superfan has revealed that she drove two hours to check out the UK’s biggest store.
Not only was the content creator, known as Princess Larrissa, 27, left stunned by the huge aisles of Christmas bargains, but she was also incredibly impressed with the affordable dog toys too.

The giant building stretches the full length of the Mallard Road Retail Park’s car park and was crowned “the best B&M” in the country in 2022 by the chain.
It spans a whopping 79,000sq ft which is even bigger than a standard football pitch of 64,000 sq ft and over triple the size of the average B&M which is 22,000sq ft.
The shop is the only one in the entire country to stock every single line that B&M has – a huge 19,000 – all in one place.
Not only is Bournemouth B&M the biggest one in the country, but it is also the most visited with 500,000 customer transactions last year.
Posting on social media, Larrissa documented her “fun” day out to the store as she said: “Come with me to the biggest B&M in the UK. We travelled over two hours, 100 miles to the B&M in Bournemouth.”
Upon entering the store, which employs 90 staff, she beamed: “I cannot believe how big this is.”
Larrissa spotted “aisles upon aisles of cleaning products, everything you can imagine” and was impressed with the stocking filler ideas and kids toys.
She was also drawn in by the sausage roll maker, but was particularly impressed with the Christmas crackers, as she beamed: “The Christmas selection was popping off, there were aisles and aisles and aisles.
“You can get such a good array of Christmas decorations, Christmas baubles, for such a good price.”
Larrissa spotted cheap games that would be great for the festive season and was left gobsmacked by the dog toy aisle.
She gasped: “And they had a whole aisle dedicated to Christmas dog toys – see why I love B&M?”
How to save money at B&M
Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.
The scanner lets you see if an item’s price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.
Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.
The app is free to download off the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
According to one ex-B&M manager, you’ll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.
Here’s how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:
- Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
- Once you’ve installed it on your device, click on the option labelled “more” on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
- You’ll then find an option that says “barcode scanner”. Click on this and you’ll open a camera screen.
- Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
- If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
- You don’t need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.
After filling their trolleys “to the brim”, the girls, who were equally as stunned by Larrissa’s finds, had to head outside to get another and in the end, they had three huge trolleys full.
In a follow-up clip, the influencer gave her followers a close-up look at her impressive B&M haul, leaving many gasping.

Not only did she get her hands on a £4 heart-shaped mug for just £2, but she also got a 2025 planner, hangers and a shower squeegee too.
But that’s not all, as the influencer even nabbed a slow cooker for £20, a large selection of dog toys and the most “incredible wreath” she had ever seen, for £30.
B&M fans beam
