Ahead of the season premiere, ABC kicked off the new year by dropping a trailer for the upcoming set of episodes on Thursday (January 2).

In the season seven premiere, titled “The Shot,” now recovering from a gunshot wound and feeling the effects of his age, John and the team welcome two new rookies and continue the hunt for two dangerous inmates with very personal vendettas following their prison escape.
The trailer teases many moments from the upcoming season, including the return of Steve Kazee‘s character Jason Wyler, who is now a fugitive on the run and poses a threat to real-life wife Jenna Dewan‘s Bailey Nune. We also get a glimpse of Eric Winter‘s Tim and Melissa O’Neil‘s Lucy about to hookup, though they note that they shouldn’t do it.
