Ballston Lake man accused of 5th burglary in 7 months
HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Ballston Lake man is accused of burglarizing a business on New Year's Eve. This is the third time that the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office has arrested Shaun Sheriff, 32, and the fifth time altogether that he has been arrested and charged with burglary since June, including State Police arrests.
Sheriff is accused of smashing a window to get into the building in Halfmoon around 1:53 a.m. on Tuesday. He also allegedly had tools commonly used for facilitating forced entry into a building when he was arrested.
Charges
- Third-degree burglary
- Third-degree criminal mischief
- Possession of burglar's tools
Sheriff was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and placed in Saratoga County Jail.
