I had 8 organs removed during ‘mother of all cacner surgeries’ and started to organise my funeral – now I’m back at work
A FORMER model who had eight organs removed during “the mother of all surgeries” is back at work.
Faye Louise, 39, began to organise her own funeral two years ago after doctors found a tumour in her appendix — but she is now cancer free.

Sections of her liver were also taken out.
Faye said: “To have been told there is no evidence of disease, it was the greatest Christmas gift that I could have got.”
Faye, who works as a flight dispatcher at Gatwick Airport, added: “The job is very physical, but I love aviation and I’m happy that I’m back in the role.”
She said she was unsure of her ability to work again this time last year.
She said: “Waiting for the results will sadly make or break every Christmas for me.
“But you just have to keep pushing forward and never give up.
“Some days I have been down to the depths of despair, but more often than not now, I’m having more positive days.”
Faye, from Horsham, West Sussex, has raised cash for Cancer Research UK by completing the Race for Life in Brighton.
She was also gunged in a pub garden.
