Mechanics Name Which Car Brands They'd Ban From Their Shop

Every car brand and its various models can present a wide variety of problems when taken into the body shop. Naturally, some mechanics prefer working on cars of certain brands over others. 

The mechanics at Colorado's Accurate Automotive body shop took to TikTok to share the one brand of car they wished they could ban from their shop. Their answers varied, though many seemed to fall into one category. 

"The car I'm currently working on," he said as the cameraman showed it was an Audi. Another wished to ban BMWs, while another said he would get rid of Volvos. 

Clearly, European vehicles aren't a favorite, and one affirmed that non-American vehicles are harder to work on, saying "I would have to say just foreigns in general." The only non-American brand named was Ford.

The answers are in line with a similar video from the body shop last month where the mechanics named their most hated cars to work on. They named Volkswagen, "anything European," and "foreign vehicles" as their least favorite brands to examine.

According to LeMans Motors, European brands are often more expensive to service and maintain, whether it be the cost of parts or the extra work needed to get them back in driving shape compared to American vehicles. When considering your next purchase, you might want to think about the cost of maintenance down the road.
