Boy, 14, stabbed and killed at Bronx NYCHA housing complex: sources
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 14-year-old boy was stabbed and killed at a NYCHA housing complex in the Bronx on Friday, sources told PIX11 News.
It happened at Mitchel Homes on East 138th Street around 9 a.m., according to authorities. The victim was found with a stab wound to his chest, the NYPD said.
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. Sources identified the victim as 14-year-old Caleb Rios.
An investigation into the fatal stabbing is ongoing.
