Ground-breaking new Disneyland Paris show that makes you feel like you’re INSIDE a Disney movie
DISNEYLAND Paris has revealed its first-of-a-kind show and it lets you pretend you are part of the movie.
Disney Tales of Magic is the new immersive night-time show that launched at the theme park last week.
It is the newest of the shows following Disney Dreams in 2012 and Disney Illuminations in 2017.
Using strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, lasers and drones, the 20-minute show features more than 20 famous songs from the iconic films.
This includes the newer Inside Out, Coco, Encanto and Wall-E as well as older classics such as Beauty and the Beats, Lion King and Cinderella.
Metin Cig, special effects and fireworks designer for the show, said: “They’re not just a visual support to the story, but become actors in the narrative, enhancing the immersion.”
Some of the big moments include Buzz Lightyear fighting Emperor Zurg, Mufasa emerging from the clouds and a huge South American music show with Bruno from Encanto.
Metin added: “We wanted to offer a strong visual experience, notably with the symbol of baby Simba that Rafiki draws on the tree, which then gives way to a magnificent 3D Mufasa appearing in the sky, just like in the film when Mufasa emerges from the clouds.
“It’s one of those great visual elements we directly borrowed from the animated movie.”
The show runs for 20 minutes an evening in the park, although parts might be changed last minute depending on weather.
The show is included in the park ticket for all guests, free of charge.
Disneyland Paris has some other exciting events this year too.
Running from April to September is their Disney Music Festival, also a first of its kind with live shows and concerts.
Alice & The Queen of Hearts: back to Wonderland show will run from May to August.
And both Frozen: A Musical Invitation and Micky and the Magician will restart from February and April, respectively.
If you can hold out until next year, the theme park’s huge Frozen land is set to open.
Based around a huge lake, there will be live shows, a Frozen Ever After boat ride going through Arendelle as well as a restaurant with themed snacks.
Elsa, Anna and Olaf will be on hand to meet guests, while Frozen themed rooms will open at the Disneyland Paris Hotel.
AttractionTickets.com is also currently offering up to €100 free spending money for anyone who books two nights or more at the theme park.
Up until March 31, 2026, the free money ranges from €50 to €100 depending on the hotel, with the top offer for guests at the Disneyland Hotel.
How to do an adults-only Disneyland Paris trip

Unique to Disneyland Paris, it comes with a €20 price tag although you get to keep the souvenir cup.
