Chantelle Houghton reveals secrets behind her 5st weight loss – and she didn’t go to the gym ONCE

BIG Brother legend Chantelle Houghton has shared several secrets behind her massive five stone weight loss – as well as revealing her relationship status.

Revealing to The Sun how she didn’t go to the gym ONCE, Chantelle, 41, has lifted the lid on her staggering weight loss transformation.

She has shared her impressive weight loss journey online[/caption]

Speaking to WDW Bingo, the former Big Brother starlet shared what she cut out of her diet after making a shocking discovery.

“So basically, I started to realise and notice how much sugar, like processed sugar, was in food,” she told us.

“It started with a yogurt I was eating, and I realised there was four teaspoons of sugar in this, in this one yogurt, and I could easily have eaten two or three a day.

“And for women, they say it’s like nine teaspoons of sugar a day. So that was already 12 teaspoons. I was already three teaspoons over in three yogurts.

“So I was like, how much unnecessary sugar am I eating? And so I started to cut sugar out, and then I completely cut it out,” she revealed.

Chantelle said that she then began to notice how much weight loss was happening, “and then I just went from there,” she added.

“I genuinely didn’t exercise, I didn’t go to the gym, I didn’t do anything apart from cut sugar out, and the weight just started to drop off of me.

“And it just goes to show how unhealthy sugar is.”

Chantelle then said that she doesn’t miss sugar or have any cravings at all.

“You know, I don’t miss it. I didn’t have any cravings or anything like that.

“And it just sort of spurred me on to start looking after myself a lot more when I saw the difference.”

The former Big Brother star, who shot to fame in 2006, went on to reveal how she doesn’t drink alcohol anymore either because of how much sugar is in it.

“I don’t drink alcohol because it has so much sugar in it. I don’t go out.

“I don’t enjoy alcohol enough to even drink it at home.

I genuinely didn’t exercise, I didn’t go to the gym, I didn’t do anything apart from cut sugar out, and the weight just started to drop off of me.

“Because why would you bother like, you feel like you’re gonna go hard or go home, well I’m home,” she said.

Gushing about her new healthier lifestyle, Chantelle said: “I just live really healthy, and I don’t feel any pressure from anyone else to maintain my weight.

“Maybe from myself a little bit, because I did put on a little bit of weight, but then I think I needed to do that because I was looking really, really thin, and I didn’t look healthy.

“But no, I don’t feel any pressure from people.”

Speaking to us about how people’s perceptions of her no longer impact her, Chantelle said: “I am responsible for my own happiness.”

“So, yeah, I eat really healthily, but I do indulge sometimes, like I am going to get a takeaway tonight. Because it’s Friday so why not,” she admitted.

Last year Chantelle spoke about being celibate and giving up on dates, with the former reality star now opening up about her love life to The Sun.

“I’ve been single for many years now. But I’m completely open,” she confessed.

“I’m not closed off.

“God, I sound like I’m in Love Island, ‘not closed off’,” she laughed.

“Like, there’s no judgment to anyone that does go out and have one night stands and blah, blah, blah.

“I’ve never had a one night stand.

“For me, I need that emotional connection of something deeper than just a fling, you know?”
