Beautiful Female Guitarist Excites With Video Clips from the Studio
Australian guitarist, singer and songwriter Orianthi has performed with everyone from Alice Cooper to Carrie Underwood. She was even tapped by Michael Jackson's management to serve as his guitarist for the late musician's This Is It concerts.
But, Orianthi also releases music as a solo artist. Her debut solo album, Believe, arrived in 2009, and her most recent, Rock Candy, dropped in 2022.
Now, Orianthi is wrapping up recording sessions for her upcoming album, and the beautiful guitarist is sharing clips from those recording sessions.
Earlier this week, Orianthi took to Instagram to post some videos from the studio. "Wild in here," she wrote with some fire and music emojis, adding that she "can't wait" for everyone to hear it. Fans replied with plenty of heart and hand clapping emojis.
Then, on Wednesday, March 26, Orianthi posted a photo of herself holding a Flying V announcing, "New album out very soon .. head over to orianthi.me for tickets to upcoming shows and yes I'll be in Europe soon."
The announcement was met with lots of fanfare. One commenter stated, "That guitar looks like the one belonging to Jimi Hendrix." Another commented, "Can't wait."
In a 2024 interview with Guitar Thrills magazine, Orianthi opened up about her personal songwriting process and love for the blues.
"I've been through a lot of hard times, and I've been through a lot of great times, and I've learned from the hard times," Orianthi said. "Although it's the same pain from the first time you get your heart broken to every time you get your heart broken you know, so that's why I think the blues resonates with a lot of people..."
She added, "With my tunes and lyrics, it's about acknowledging, hey, I've been through this, but I've come to the other side... it's not victim blues or anything, you know, it's like just stating what you went through but with strength."
