Major UK supermarket slashes price of chocolate and booze with £4.50 Cadbury’s classic in time for Mother’s Day
A MAJOR supermarket has slashed the price of chocolate and booze just in time for Mother’s Day.
Morrisons has a range of deals available this weekend including a classic Cadbury’s gift that is less than £5.
But, to benefit from most of the deals, shoppers will need a More Card.
One of the bargains on offer is perfect for that small additional present or filler just to make mum feel extra special.
The iconic Cadbury’s Milk Tray 530g which is usually a staggering £10 is available for just £4.50 with the More Card and is the perfect pick for chocolate lovers.
You can pair this with a nice bottle of wine as Morrisons is also offering cardholders a “Buy 6, Save 25%” deal on selected wines and Champagnes.
You can mix and match any six bottles included in the deal to make the saving with top brands including Oyster Bay, La Vieille Ferme, and Lanson.
You can pick up a bottle of Hardys Nottage Hill Chardonnay for just £7.75, or enjoy a refreshing Morrisons The Best Prosecco Rose DOC for £8.00.
Even the retailer’s Wine of the Week the Italian La Gioisa Rosea Brut is on offer for just £5 – down from £10.50.
There are also major discounts online on individual bottles of wine with top drinks like Miraval Cotes De Provence Rose with 50 per cent off but the deal expires later today.
Other retailers are also doing cracking deals this week for the perfect Mother’s Day weekend.
To rival Morrisons’ Cadbury’s deal, Asda has slashed the price of Cadbury Heroes to £3.33 as part of its new Rollback price campaign.
Savvy shoppers have also been rushing to the retailer to snap up a beautiful LEGO flower bouquet.
It scans at just £3, down from it’s usual price tag of £54.99 and is a brilliant twist on traditional flowers.
Meanwhile, Lidl has everything you need for a cream tea with scones for just £1.49, clotted cream for £1.99, and strawberry jam for £1.49 (all discounted if you’re a loyalty member).
