Jenna Bush Hager’s Husband Henry Reveals What Gives Him the ‘Ick’ in Lie Detector Test
On "Today with Jenna & Friends," Jenna Bush Hager and her husband, Henry Hager, participated in a lie detector test.
Jenna asked her husband, "Henry, have I ever given you the ick?" and Henry admitted that she had. "Sometimes in the morning, you know, you might want to brush your teeth," he joked.
Jenna replied, "That's so rude!" Afterward, Jenna admitted she was "nervous" for her hubby to co-host the show with her, to which he said, "That's so mean. I'm a natural!"
Tension seemed to rise when Henry then admitted that he had kept items from an ex-girlfriend. Jenna said, "... what do you have from your ex-girlfriend?" To which Henry said, "Uh, pictures maybe? I dunno. I don't know. Letters? Something somewhere. I don't know where they are."
Fans of the couple were excited to see Henry on the small screen with his wife-- especially after he turned down the opportunity to co-host the show last year, according to Today.
Speaking to the outlet earlier this week, Henry said of co-hosting with his wife, "I'm excited to do this. I'm really excited to support my wife. That is what really drove me to do this. It's not really my cup of tea. She's excellent at it. I do something really different for work."
According to NBC, Henry is the managing director of Waterous Energy Fund. Prior to that, he was a director for Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, a global investment firm. In addition, he sits on the board of the George W. Bush Presidential Center and the Building Conservation Trust.
