Rock Legend Wants to 'Collaborate' With Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has worked with a lot of legendary artists from across many different genres of music over the years, but it sounds like one rock legend would love to collaborate with her at some point in the future.
During a recent appearance on TalkShopLive stream, legendary rock guitarist Carlos Santana revealed that he would
"I want to collaborate with Sting and Taylor Swift," Santana said.
Santana even had a few songs in mind that he would like to perform with Taylor – "No Woman, No Cry" by Bob Marley & The Wailers, "Just Like a Woman" by Bob Dylan, and "Natural Woman" by Carole King.
Santana also suggested a potential album focused around Swift's "female queen goddess" energy.
"I think that for many, many centuries women have gotten a bum rap from the male gaze," he explained during the live stream. "I gotta get together with my sister and take the female queen goddess to a whole other level of deep appreciation and validation."
If the collaboration were to happen, this would not be the first time the legendary rock guitarist stepped into pop music, as he has previously worked with artists like Rihanna, Michael Jackson, and Michelle Branch.
This certainly would not be Swift's only high-profile collaboration, either. Over the years, Taylor has worked with a number of artists like Ed Sheeran, Bon Iver, John Mayer, Ice Spice, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Kendrick Lamar, B.O.B, Future, T-Pain, Zayn Malik, Brendon Urie, Hayley Williams, Lana Del Rey, Boys Like Girls, Bleachers, The National, Florence Welch, Post Malone, and many more.
Recently, pop superstar SZA suggested that she would like to collaborate with Taylor, too.
It seems like Taylor has no shortage of suitors, but she certainly hasn't been one to pass up the opportunity for a high-profile collaboration. We'll have to see if either of these opportunities ever comes to fruition.
