Fran Drescher Admits She 'Rotates' Friends With Benefits
In a series of candid comments, actress Fran Drescher has admitted that she "rotates" friends with benefits.
“I have a little rotation,” she told Page Six, which noted that the revelation came five years after Drescher admitted to having a "friend with benefits."
The reference to multiple such friends had Page Six probing for more details.
“I’m Fran Drescher,” she laughed to Page Six. “What do you think?!”
According to Page Six, Drescher loves her "gay ex-husband" and remains close to him, so "the most she can give anyone else is a 'friend with benefits' situation."
Drescher was married to Peter Jacobson, who she met at age 15, from 1978 through 1999, according to Page Six.
In 2014, Drescher married for a second time to Dr. Shiva Ayyadura, People reported. They broke up two years later, People reported.
She opened up to People in 2020 about her divorce from Jacobson.
“I wasn’t feeling as happy as I thought I’d feel with money, and fame, and creative control,” she told People. “Peter started to have control issues that I found somewhat suffocating, and only in hindsight, do we now understand that he was working so hard to control his authentic self, his true orientation.”
She described some of her worst dating stories to E! News.
"I've been on dates with guys who we got into a fight about how we would raise this imaginary kid that we were never gonna have because we clearly were completely different people who would have different styles of parenting," she told the publication. "Anybody that ever says anything that even suggests or hints at any kind of prejudice of anybody, that is like, ‘OK I have a headache, we're not even gonna order dinner.'"
