Hulk Hogan’s Ex-Wife Releases Statement in Surprising Family Drama Twist
Linda Hogan appears to have changed her tune — at least slightly — when it comes to her ex-husband, Hulk Hogan.
On March 29, TMZ reported that Linda wishes that her ex-husband would mend his relationship with the former couple's only daughter Brooke Hogan. The reason? She wants her grandkids to know their grandfather.
Linda explained that while she wasn't a fan of Hulk as a partner, he was "always a good father."
"Our marriage didn’t work out but what Brooke's doing to us is completely unprecedented, unexpected and unfair and not true. Hulk Hogan, my ex, has been really distraught and saddened by her distance just as I and her brother Nick have as well," Linda told the outlet.
"After what Brooke has done and to punish us and torture us, to get married and to have twins and to not call us, the damage is already been done. I don’t think she could hurt us anymore, so she can just march on her merry way with her family. I wish them well but she has left a path of destruction," she added.
Linda's comments come just days after she took to her Instagram Stories to talk about her marriage to Hulk — which ended in 2009. In the video, a distraught Linda expressed deep sorrow over the split — and a subsequent family rift that has torn her and Hulk away from Brooke, 36.
"It's been 15 years since I left Hulk... Hulk Hogan. And my family is in the worst mess. Brooke doesn't talk to us. She's had twins. She got married. She didn't tell us," Linda said on March 26. She went on to trash her ex calling him a "complete liar" and a "sex addict."
Brooke responded to her mother's post in a lengthy statement posted to Instagram.
"I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood,” Brooke said. "Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes."
On March 28, Linda seemingly replied to her daughter's post with a lengthy Facebook share. In it, she called Brooke "a narcissist, just like her dad."
As for Hulk's stance on the family drama, a source told Us Weekly that he doesn't know why his daughter isn't speaking to him. The WWE star, whose real name is Terry Bollea, hasn't spoken out about the family disconnect as of the time of this writing.
