Sydney Sweeney Stuns in Photo With Glen Powell's Sister Amid Rumors
Late last week, a report emerged suggesting actress Sydney Sweeney and fiance Jonathan Davino were on the rocks.
The couple, who got engaged three years ago, were set to marry in May 2025, but that plan was put on hold. According to People, “things have been rocky for a long time" between Sweeney, 27, and Davino, 41.
Not long after the report broke, Sweeney was spotted in Dallas with Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell who admitted to feeding speculation about a romance with the actress in a press tour for the film. "Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry," Glen told The New York Times in April 2024. "That’s people wanting what’s on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully."
Sweeney's trip to Dallas had nothing to do with Powell - or at least the one everyone's thinking about. On March 30, Leslie Powell, the actor's sister, shared photos from her wedding, of which Sweeney was a guest.

TMZ reported that Sweeney and Powell, 36, did not attend the wedding as a couple, revealing Sweeney RSVP'd to the event months ago and is simply "very good friends with the Powell family" and has been "very close" with Leslie "for a long time."
“Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split,” a source told Us Weekly in an article published on March 26. “Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now."
The on-screen romance between Powell and Sweeney isn't being taken off screen, it seems.
