2 NYPD officers accused of burglary, forcible touching inside Queens brothel
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A bombshell arraignment happened in Queens Criminal Court on Monday.
Two NYPD officers pleaded not guilty to charges they robbed and groped a sex worker while on duty and inside an illegal brothel back in July of 2024.
Twenty-seven-year-old probationary officer Justin McMillan and 24-year-old probationary officer Justin Colon face charges of burglary and forcible touching stemming from a 311 call and investigation of an illegal brothel near 89th Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
Prosecutors said the officers on foot patrol entered the illegal brothel, stated they didn't see anything and turned off the body cameras. They then allegedly took a key to the building from a woman exiting and then left.
Eight hours later, while in police uniform, they returned using the key to enter a room.
They allegedly kicked out a “john,” and took money from a sex worker's pocketbook.
According to prosecutors, McMillan then allegedly groped the woman’s breasts and buttocks before leaving. The officers never filed paperwork about the incident.
Both officers are now free on bond awaiting trial.
