Sydney Sweeney Makes Final Decision on Relationship With Jonathan Davino

Over the weekend Anyone But You co-stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell were spotted together in Dallas amid rumors that the 27-year-old actress' relationship with fiance Jonathan Davino was on the rock.

The images of Powell and Sweeney together sparked more rumors, but the actress reportedly attended the event - the wedding of Powell's sister - on her own. "Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry," Powell told The New York Times in April 2024. "That’s people wanting what’s on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully."

Sweeney's attendance of the wedding without Davino came after Us Weekly claimed the couple was "having major issues but are not fully split...Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now."

Just a few days later, though, People is reporting the couple is done for good after source told the outlet that Sweeney is focusing on her work amid the end of her engagement.

"She's exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects," the source said.

Sweeney was reportedly "overwhelmed" by the wedding along with her catalog of upcoming work including a new season of Euphoria, playing the lead in the movie adaptation of The Housemaid and portraying boxer Christy Martin - among other titles.

"What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding. She didn't feel right about it," the source said adding, Sweeney is "in the middle of this magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago," therefore, "This is what she wants to focus on right now."

The relationship between Davino and Sweeney only last as long as it did because it was "hard for her to break it off," said the source of Sweeney who is "not ready to settle down."
