Machine Gun Kelly Addresses Controversial Baby Name Rumor
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox should be basking in the glow of the birth of their baby girl, who arrived on March 27. Instead, the singer is addressing rumors about the name of their child.
The controversy started on the Instagram birth announcement when MGK shared a black-and-white video of his finger being gripped by his daughter's tiny hand. He wrote in the caption, "She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed."
Well, leave it to the internet to think that Fox and MGK named their baby "little celestial seed." Hollywood does have a knack for giving their kids unusual names, so maybe his followers weren't entirely off base.
"Celestial seed……??," wrote one confused follower. Another fan chimed in, "I truly hope that it’s not her name." One social media account saw through the nonsense and joked, "People thinking they actually named the baby celestial seed is sending me."
MGK took to his Instagram Story on March 31 to clear up the mess because it had carried over to TikTok and people were making videos about the baby girl's name.
“Wait guys,” he wrote over a screenshot of a TikTok announcement about the name, “Her name isn’t Celestial Seed.” For now, the 34-year-old musician and Fox are keeping the name private. “Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready," he added.
Fans should still expect a unique name. Fox's sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green are named Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8 — so maybe something with a hippie flair. MGK is also father to daughter Casie, 15, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.
Fox and MGK ended their two-year engagement in December.
