Jared Leto & Jeff Bridges Tease Upcoming 'Tron: Ares' at CinemaCon 2025, Debut First Trailer
Jared Leto and Jeff Bridges take to the stage during the Walt Disney Studios showcase at 2025 CinemaCon held at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace on Thursday (April 3) in Las Vegas.
The two actors were in attendance, along with director Joachim Rønning, to tease their upcoming third franchise movie, TRON: Ares.
While on stage, Jared shared how he was obsessed with Tron as a kid, and teased the movie “will hit you right in the grid… wherever that is,” via via Deadline.
“As a kid I was obsessed with Tron. The future felt it was right around the corner,” Jared shared on stage. “It had everything I wanted from a movie — action, adventure and spandex — it took me to a world that I never knew.”
Jared and Jeff also unveiled the first, extended trailer for the upcoming film.

In the trailer, set to Nine Inch Nails music, “red Tron cycles speeding into our modern cities and slicing police cars in half. Those Tron forklift things fly through the air — you know, those obstacles you’re suppose to shoot in the video game. As billed, it’s the video game world invading ours.”
“Ready?” Jeff, who reprises his role as Kevin Flynn from the original movie, says in the trailer. “Because there’s no going back.”

TRON: Ares “follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.”
