LoveShackFancy and Hunter Collaborate on Whimsical Boot Collection With Signature Floral Prints for Women and Children
April showers are here—but you don’t have to wait until May for flowers. LoveShackFancy is applying its quaint and feminine aesthetic, featuring plenty of florals, to Hunter boots through a limited-edition collaborative collection focused on women’s and children’s styles, set for release on April 10.
Launching ahead of Easter and Mother’s Day, the collaboration gives families the chance to coordinate footwear looks, offering eight styles that are both functional and whimsical. The Hunter silhouettes featured in the collection include the Women’s Original Tall Rain Boots, Women’s PLAY Short Rain Boots, Big Kids Original Rain Boots and Kids First Classic Rain Boots. The adult’s styles range from $145-$215 while the children’s styles range from $95-$120.
“We see a natural synergy between Hunter and LoveShackFancy—two brands with well-defined yet complementary identities,” said Matthew Salter, executive vice president, partnership-marketing at parent brand Authentic. “This collaboration brings together Hunter’s world-class craftsmanship with LoveShackFancy’s flower-filled world, creating a collection that feels both fresh and timeless.”
“Hunter is known for its commitment to durability and performance, while LoveShackFancy has built its reputation on a distinctive, romantic style,” said Shanya Perera, senior vice President, marketing, advertising and PR at Marc Fisher Footwear, U.S. licensee of Hunter footwear. “The Original Rain Boot has always been a canvas for creative expression, and this collaboration allows us to bring that vision to life in a fresh, playful way. By blending our signature strengths, we’ve created a collection that speaks to a new generation of trendsetters and stylish moms who want to look effortlessly chic—rain or shine.”
Rebecca Hessel Cohen, creative director and founder of LoveShackFancy, also commented on the collaboration: “Over the years, it’s become something of a LoveShackFancy uniform—the Ruffle Mini paired with the perfect rain boot. So, when we thought about the dream partner for a rain boot collaboration, Hunter was the most natural fit. They’re such an iconic heritage brand, and we love infusing our world of florals and ruffles into pieces that are not only beautiful, but functional and timeless.”
Cohen explained the inspiration behind the designs. “For this collection, we leaned into our forever favorite florals—those vintage-inspired, ultra-feminine prints that are rooted in our DNA. Featuring a trio of prints, the first one blends one of our new ditsy florals from our spring ready-to-wear collection with one of our signature, heirloom florals for both adult and kid styles.”
Cohen continued, “The next two prints play off each other with the adult style featuring a sophisticated allover pink rose print and the kid’s style arriving in the same colorway, but with our iconic Rosa Beaux print for a playful touch. We wanted each piece to feel romantic, nostalgic and a little whimsical while still being totally wearable. Whether you’re walking through a dewy garden or running errands in the city, these boots are made to bring a little joy and beauty to everyday moments.”
LoveShackFancy is no stranger to footwear collaborations. In 2024, the label teamed up with TKEES to create a sandal collection featuring two options, and in 2021, the brand worked with Superga on a sneaker collection.
“Collaborations have been such an exciting and meaningful part of our brand journey,” Cohen said. “They’ve allowed us to invite new customers into the LoveShack world in really accessible ways. In fact, across many of our recent collaborations, about 65% of the customers were new to the brand—which is incredible. We’ve also been really thoughtful about price point, creating beautiful entry pieces that give people a taste of our world, whether it’s through a floral water bottle or a pair of printed boots. Every collab is about finding that perfect synergy between brands and dreaming up something neither of us could create alone.”
