Ayden Heaven shares fresh three-word injury update fans would love ahead of Man Utd v Man City

Manchester United host Manchester City on Sunday and could receive an injury boost after Ayden Heaven took to social media platform Instagram to share a positive update ahead of the Premier League game and derby.

The 18-year-old was stretchered off in the 51st minute against Leicester City in his first Premier League start for the Red Devils before the international break last month, and he was tipped to spend a while on the injury sidelines.

However, it appears Heaven could be back in action sooner rather than later in a huge boost for Man United following his recent update, but it remains to be seen whether he will be available for selection against Man City on Sunday.

The former Arsenal man has played just four times for the Old Trafford club but has done just enough to convince head coach Ruben Amorim and the fans of his quality, and having him back will come as a much-needed boost.

Man United returned to action on Tuesday with a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest and will be desperate to get back to winning ways when Man City come visiting.

They could do with some injury boosts ahead of such an important fixture, and Amorim will be hoping for some good news between now and Sunday.

They are currently 13th in the table and will need to improve significantly ahead of their remaining games if they want to end the campaign in the top half of the table and with a trophy.

Man United have not impressed under Amorim since the Portuguese arrived, with injuries one of the reasons they have struggled, but that excuse will not be enough if they end the season on an underwhelming note.
