Hudson Falls woman arrested on child sex abuse image charges
HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police reported the arrest of a Hudson Falls woman after a sex crime investigation. 23-year-old Gabriela Smith is facing felony charges.
Investigators conducted a search of Smith's Hudson Falls home on Thursday while following up on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Troopers and Hudson Falls Police took Smith into custody as a result of the search after finding that she allegedly produced and owned a multitude of pictures and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children.
Smith was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. She was held at the Washington County Jail prior to being arraigned.
