‘Genius’ woman praised for ‘mind blowing’, back-saving hack to avoid bending over while hanging the washing out
A WOMAN has been labelled a “genius” after sharing a clever hack to avoid bending over when hanging out the washing.
Charly took to her TikTok page to post a video explaining the trick she swears by so that she doesn’t have to aggravate her already painful back.
In the clip, she was seen using a giant bag for life, putting one of the handles around her neck.
She then put the wet washing inside the bag, before taking the items out one at a time and hanging on the line.
“Using a massive shopping bag like this so you don’t have to constantly bend down,” Charly wrote over the top of the video.
“Does anyone else do this?! Anything to save my rubbish back!” she added in the caption.
Charly shared the video alongside hashtags including #ihatelaundry and #lifehack.
And it seems other people have the same issue, as her TikTok has now been watched almost 250,000 times.
The comments section was immediately filled with people praising Charly for sharing the hack, with many angry they’d never thought of it themselves.
“Whaaaat?! I’m gonna start doing this, faaaab idea, thanks girl!” one wrote.
“I might start doing this. I’m forever going dizzy because I’m always bending down,” another added.
“Ok this is actually genius,” a third commented.

“The way this has changed my life. I use the big Home Bargains ones but the neck… MIND BLOWN.”
“I love you for this hack!” another wrote.
“This is genius,” someone else said.
“I love this! I have mobility issues and I am obscenely tall so this is amazing!” another added.
“Na. This is actually genius!! I’m 34 weeks pregnant and bending is not for me haha!” someone else praised.
