Mexican TV Producer Memo del Bosque Dead at 62
Mexican television producer Guillermo "Memo" del Bosque has died at the age of 62.
On April 7, a message written by del Bosque was shared on his Instagram account.
"I want to share that I have reached the end of my life," the message, written in Spanish, read.
"Cancer was a tremendous battle that I fought with everything I could, but God has decided that this disease will no longer harm me. I thank God for allowing me to continue living since I was diagnosed in 2017, and for allowing me to enjoy my children, Vica, and my entire family. I am thankful for my friends who never left. Thank you for all your love," he continued.
He went on to say that his "struggle is over."
As listed on his IMDb page, del Bosque has well over a dozen credits to his name, stemming from the early '90s. He served as a producer for a number of different shows, including 259 episodes of Que show con Alejandra Bogue, which aired form 2008 through 2011. His most recent work was on Perdiendo el juicio, a television series that aired from 2021 through 2022.
According to Merca 2.0, del Bosque was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2017.
Del Bosque is survived by his wife, Vica Andrade, and his three children; Luca, Luna, and Coral. Andrade also has a son named Sean from a previous relationship.
