Sydney Sweeney Makes Telling Decision After Jonathan Davino Breakup
Earlier this year a report emerged suggesting actress Sydney Sweeney and longtime boyfriend Jonathan Davino called off their wedding after a three-year engagement.
Not long later a new report from Us Weekly revealed the couple called of their entire relationship. “Sydney and Jonathan are officially split,” a source revealed to the tabloid late last month, revealing that the Euphoria actress is “telling friends she is single.”
“They were supposed to get married this spring. The wedding is not happening, and they aren’t having further discussions about it,” a second source said. “Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn’t handle the stress.”
While the couple appears to have called it quits, they clearly aren't done with whatever their relationship will yield in the future. Page Six revealed the couple met for lunch in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 5 while the actress went incognito with a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses covering her face during the meal.
The lunch came not only after the couple allegeldy called off their relationship, but also following Sweeney's attendance of the wedding of Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell's sister, Leslie. Powell's mother poured cold water on rumors that emerged suggesting Sweeney was a guest of her son's during the event.
“Nothing going on behind closed doors,” she stated. “He’s the kindest person and he is so others-oriented. He loves his family, he loves his friends. And Sydney is a friend. They’ve been friends for so long. They’ve known each other for so long and they’ve both been single and together and with other people."
