Walter Clayton Jr.'s Girlfriend Revealed: Meet Tatiyana Burney
On Monday, April 7, the Florida Gators will face off against the Houston Cougars with the national title on the line.
In the Final Four, Florida dispatched the Auburn Tigers while Houston pulled off a miraculous upset against the Duke Blue Devils to secure its spot in the final. Ahead of the game, Cougars head coach Kelvin Sampson heaped praise on Florida star Walter Clayton Jr. the star of the NCAA Tournament this year.
"Walter Clayton Jr., I met him for the first time outside of here in one of these hallways the other day. If Cooper Flagg is the best player in the country, then this kid is right there with him. He is the ultimate winner. You have to have kids like him to get here," the Houston coach said.
Clayton Jr. has a strong support system in girlfriend Tatiyana Burney, with whom he shares daughter Leilani Leigh, born on Dec. 11, 2023.

Clayton and Burney have been together since early 2022, with Burney posting a photo of the couple together in March 2022. Clayton also "liked" an earlier photo of her in January 2022, but it's unclear when exactly they started dating.

Clayton's first post about Burney, and subsequently his first post on Instagram, came in May 2022. "All because of you, I'ma be a better manNow I wanna do things I ain't never did ❤️????," he said in the caption.

During the NCAA tournament, Clayton is averaging 24.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 48.7% from three-point range, making 3.8 threes per contest.
