ORIGINAL STORY
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — According to university officials, several students from Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma have had their visas revoked by the federal government.
At least six students at OSU and four students at UCO have informed the universities about their visas being revoked.
A UCO spokesperson told News 4 that the reasons for the revocations are currently unknown, and the university did not get a notification. Students with visas reportedly received an email from the Department of Homeland Security then reported it to the school.
The news of the revocations comes after reports of other international students' visas being revoked at other universities across the country.
News 4 reached out to the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Christian University, Rose State College, and Oklahoma City Community College to see if any of their students have been affected. We're waiting to hear back.
