More than 16,000 marijuana plants seized in Garvin County bust
GARVIN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) - The Garvin County Sheriff's Office teamed up with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics during a recent bust.
Officials say authorities shut down an illegal grow located in Garvin County. 16,847 marijuana plants, 115 pounds of processed marijuana and more than $12,000 were seized from the property.
"This operation is a great example of what can be accomplished when local and state agencies work together to protect our communities. We remain committed to upholding the law and ensuring Garvin County stays a safe place to live and raise a family." said the Garvin County Sheriff's Office on social media.
Three people were detained. No more information is available as the investigation continues.
