Normani Showcases Sultry Santoni Platforms with Two-Toned Dress at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards 2025
Normani brought a glamorous black and metallic gold color scheme to the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday, pairing a two-toned dress with platform sandals from Santoni.
The singer, who released her debut album “Dopamine” in 2024, dressed up for the swanky occasion in a tightly fitted dress with a cut out at the midriff. The high neck top was a dark gold color with a subtle sheen while the bottom portion was a black pencil skirt with a hemline near the calf area. She went with a slicked back straight hair style that cascaded down her back and modeled thick gold bangles on one wrist.
Blending with the rest of her ensemble, Normani modeled a pair of black platform sandals from Santoni, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and revealed a new brand symbol not long ago. The shoes showcased a distinctive design with two buckles on the V-shaped ankle strap. The design also included a slender strap across the toes as well as a graduated sloped sole and soaring stiletto heel.
The shoes strongly resembled a Santoni style worn by Rita Ora in the past, the Double Buckle Platform Sandal, which would appear to no longer be carried by the brand. A similar style marked at a price of $845 is currently offered, however, which features a wider heel and thicker toe strap; another option, available for pre-order, applies the double buckle, a signature Santoni design, to a V-shaped toe strap.
Normani appreciates a high heel — she recently appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” wearing a brown version of Le Silla’s popular Petalo pump.
