Golfer Under Fire for His Outfit at the Masters
Jason Day is off the hook.
After partnering with Malbon on a few aggressive outfit choices at the Masters - and a number of other tournaments - Day toned down his look for the tournament's first round on Thursday. It was a different, golfer, though that picked up the mantle for Day as the "worst" dressed of the day.
Amateur golfer Jose Luis Ballester, who currently plays his golf at Arizona State, teed it up with reigning champion Scottie Scheffer and two-time major winner Justin Thomas on Thursday morning. Ballester took the course in a relatively simple outfit, with a white collared shirt with a Spanish emblem on it.
Perhaps the most confusing part of the outfit was his "Sun Devils" had that was both upside down and backwards. It didn't take long for his fit to start making the rounds on social media where it was quickly ridiculed.
"Not good," golf reporter Kyle Porter said simply, sparking plenty of reaction on social media.

"In case he's behind someone in their rear view mirror," another person joked.
"Rick couldn’t wear his hat backwards bud they allow this? Green Jackets are starting to get a little lax," offered another.
"Shrink the game massively. Why isn’t he being kicked off the property for wearing this," joked a third.
"They censored Jason Day and Malbon but allow this? Has Augusta lost their fastball?" questioned another.
Ballester's look isn't the only tough part of his day. After a triple bogey on No. 5, he sits five shots over par and nine shots off the lead.
