'Pride & Prejudice' Cast: Emma Corrin Set for Elizabeth Bennet Opposite Jack Lowden's Mr. Darcy, Olivia Colman Also Joins Netflix Series
The cast of Pride & Prejudice, Netflix’s limited series based on the beloved 1800s Jane Austen novel, has been set!
The Crown‘s Emma Corrin will take on the role of Elizabeth Bennet, Slow Horses‘ Jack Lowden will play Mr. Darcy, and Oscar winner Olivia Colman will portray Mrs. Bennet.
Production on the six-episode limited series will take place later this year in the UK, and will be directed by Euros Lyn. Dolly Alderton is writing the scripts. Jack‘s casting was rumored just yesterday, and now it looks to be confirmed!

To be able to bring this iconic character to life, alongside Olivia and Jack, with Dolly’s phenomenal scripts, is truly the greatest honour. I can’t wait for a new generation to fall in love with this story all over again.”
Keira Knightley famously portrayed Elizabeth Bennet in the Pride and Prejudice film opposite Matthew Macfadyen‘s Mr. Darcy.
Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle played the roles in the 1995 BBC version.
