Kylie Kelce Reveals Her Team Edited 1 Piece of Michelle Obama Interview
Kylie Kelce was honored to have former First Lady Michelle Obama on her Not Gonna Lie podcast on March 20, but her nerves might have gotten the best of her.
On her April 10 follow-up episode, a fan asked the mom-of-four how she kept it together when interviewing Obama. That's when Kelce admitted that it was all an act, she didn't keep her cool at all during the interview.
“First of all, Tristan, the editing team behind Not Gonna Lie did me a solid,” Kelce revealed. “I had to wipe my upper lip sweat multiple times. Multiple times. Okay?”
Kelce knew that this talent booking was a good get for her podcast, which made its debut on Dec. 5, 2024. “A lot of fans were shocked that we got Michelle Obama. Girl, same. Guys, I still can't wrap my head around it," she added.
Kelce might have been ecstatic about the opportunity, but one internet troll tried to spoil the party with their Instagram comment after the March 20 episode was released. They added a throwing up emoji which set Kelce off.
"Hi Dana. We actually don't do this here. If you have nothing nice to say just keep scrolling," Kelce responded, per E! News.
She also gushed about the former first lady during the episode, letting Obama know how much of an honor it was to have her there.
"I'm not going to lie, Mrs. Obama, this is a pretty surreal moment for me. I have always been such a fan of the way you carry yourself," Kelce said during the episode. "At 18 was the first election that I was able to vote for your husband. But seeing you as a powerful figure alongside him as a partner was such an outstanding image of female empowerment."
