1 arrested after Troy PD seizes hallucinogens from home
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Troy Police Department recovered over 10 ounces of hallucinogenic drugs at a home on April 3. Police said Khayere T. Mullins-Wright, 29, of Troy, is facing two felony drug charges.
Police said they searched a home in Troy's North Central neighborhood around 9 p.m. for an illegal drug activity investigation. While searching the home, the Troy Police Department’s Emergency Response Team recovered roughly 14.5 ounces of psilocybin.
Troy police arrested Mullins-Wright after the search. Law enforcement told NEWS10 that the marijuana found during the search was under the 5-pound legal limit, so he was not charged for it.
Mullins-Wright is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Troy City Court and released to probation.
