Ben Affleck Made 'Surprising' Admission After Getting Divorced
Ben Affleck made a "surprising" admission after getting divorced from Jennifer Lopez.
The 52-year-old Hollywood star, known for his roles in "The Town," "Argo," "Good Will Hunting" and more, was married to Jennifer Lopez from 2022-25. The couple finalized their divorce earlier this year. Affleck and Lopez first dated some 20 years ago, before rekindling their romance shortly after the pandemic.
Affleck recently admitted that despite being married to Jennifer Lopez, and previously Jennifer Garner, he really doesn't know how to flirt.
The actor, who is set to star in "The Accountant 2," compared himself to his character, Christian Wolff.
“Here’s a guy who’s trying to figure out — he wants to have a relationship with a woman, he’s trying to figure out how to do that, like, how to put yourself out there," he told Page Six.
“You know, he’s not comfortable extending himself. He doesn’t really know how to flirt exactly. He’s not comfortable,” he added, before adding: “like so many of us.”
Affleck, who has been in several high-profile relationships, admitted that he has a tough time, too.
“It’s not easy for anyone figuring out relationships, particularly at the very early part, where you’re trying to gauge, ‘What does this signal mean? Is this person looking at me? Do they like me? Am I going to humiliate myself if I go over there?'”
Affleck is opening up about flirting and relationships a couple of months after finalizing his divorce from Lopez. The prominent couple settled their divorce in January.
The longtime Hollywood star has reportedly been "casually" dating over the past couple of months, though it doesn't sound like it's been anything too serious.
Affleck's new movie, "The Accountant 2," is set to be released on April 25.
