Can You Read Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Set List?
On Monday morning, Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Katy Perry, Amanda Nguyen, Kerianne Flynn, and Aisha Bowe made history when they were finally shot into space by Jeff Bezos’s aerospace company, Blue Origin. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Perry made a big promotional promise to her KatyKats: She revealed a plan to release her Lifetimes tour set list from space.

In an interview with Video From Space prior to liftoff, Perry told a journalist she’d be bringing two special items on the flight: a daisy to remind viewers that “the Earth is very precious” (her 4-year-old daughter is also named Daisy), and her unannounced set list for the upcoming Lifetimes tour. “I’m also launching a tour on April 23 in Mexico, and I’ll be on tour for the rest of the year,” Perry said. “I think it would be pretty cool to reveal my set list for that tour in space.”

Upon landing, Perry hoisted her daisy into the sky and knelt down to kiss the ground before conducting a post-flight interview, where she claimed that she did indeed reveal her set list for the tour “on a butterfly” (“How apropos?!”). Nearly four hours after landing, a clip from the flight began circulating on X that showcased a mostly illegible list of songs on what looks to be a tiny paper butterfly. So I guess Perry really did debut her set list, but can anyone read it? Fans are busy trying to decode the blurry image, and Perry has yet to unveil a high-definition version her Instagram Stories.
Luckily for the KatyKats, the set list was not the only musical thing Perry did during this trip: According to Gayle King, she gave the girls a rendition of “What a Wonderful World” on their way back to Earth. And with this audience? I’m sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
