Inside Tiger Lily Hutchence’s VERY rock and roll wedding including music icons as she ties the knot with model boyfriend
WEDDING bells rang out this weekend for Tiger Lily Hutchence, as she married her boyfriend of two years Ben Archer.
I can reveal the daughter of the late Paula Yates and Michael Hutchence tied the knot at a ceremony in East London where she was joined by her adoptive dad, Bob Geldof.
A source said: “Tiger Lily and Ben had a very chic, very low-key wedding on Saturday.
“They hired out a restaurant on Columbia Road for about 30 guests.
“Tiger Lily’s sisters, Pixie and Fifi, were there, as well as Bob.
“The guest list was very rock ’n’ roll, with Tiger Lily’s godfather, Nick Cave, invited, too.
“Tiger Lily and Ben are so happy together and this ceremony was just for their closest friends and family.
“It was a beautiful day and, after the service, they all sat down to have a meal together.”
Tiger Lily and Ben, who started dating in 2023, are expecting their first child together.
Pals said the pair were keen to wed before welcoming their new arrival.
A source added: “This is a huge year for Tiger Lily and Ben because they’re becoming parents. Getting married in front of their nearest and dearest was the cherry on top for them.”
Tiger Lily has chosen to live her life out of the spotlight, unlike Fifi and Pixie.
She had a tough start, with her INXS frontman dad Michael taking his own life and her TV host mum Paula dying from a heroin overdose, all by the time Tiger Lily was four.
Her sister, Peaches, also died from a heroin overdose in 2014, aged 25.
After moving to Australia, Tiger Lily released an album, Tragic Tiger’s Sad Meltdown, and revealed her then- boyfriend, singer Nick Allbrook, had given her the confidence to start singing.
She said of the record: “I made this cassette in the living room of our house in Fremantle, a seaside town in Western Australia.
“I had always been shy to sing with others, but moving across the world and my ex-boyfriend Nick had given me some bravery.
“Most of the songs are about my sister, Peaches, who I lost as a teenager, so singing them aloud felt very potent, but my band always made me feel held.”
Now living back in London with model Ben, it seems Tiger Lily really has found her happy ever after . . .
Nice B-side, Cardi
CARDI B is clearly loving the single life, as she proved when she twerked and slapped her own bum at the weekend.
She looked like she was having the time of her life as she hopped up on stage at the invite-only Revolve Festival in the US and let her hair down.
The I Like It rapper, who wore massive fluffy boots and a skin-tight outfit, filed for divorce from the father of her three children, Offset, last summer.
The annual hip hop event is only accessible to influencers and stars, but they still seemed keen to grab some of Cardi’s freebie Whipshots – her brand of vodka-infused whipped cream – from her as she handed them out.
But given that the temperature reached almost 37 degrees there at the weekend, I dread to think of the curdled stench by the end of the day.
Pete: Doc said if I booze I’ll lose (my toes)
PETE DOHERTY has revealed that almost losing his toes was a big wake-up call to cut back on booze.
The Libertines rocker, who has type 2 diabetes, was warned by doctors that parts of his feet might get amputated if he carried on drinking.
He said: “The toes went really wrong. They went – this is not very chic – they went all black, and then they were gonna have to come off.
“So I had to amend my diet and stop drinking. They’re kind of on the mend now. In the meantime, I have to wear these orthopedic shoes.”
But Pete’s idea of stopping drinking isn’t quite the same as everyone else’s.
Asked by Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast how he is coping without alcohol, he said: “It’s alright. It’s easier than in the past.
“I’m letting myself have a drink once in a while, like every ten days, but something has shifted in me.
“That way I was before, it was just an integral part of everything. It’s sort of faded now.”
A night to Remember?
THE UK has a great history of girl groups and our Eurovision entry Remember Monday is building on that – by teaming up with the man behind the Spice Girls.
The trio – Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele – are being managed by Chris Herbert, the man who put the Wannabe singers together 31 years ago.
They gave a taste of what to expect when they performed at the London Eurovision Party on Sunday evening, where a series of this year’s contestants got the chance to belt out their entries.
They wore Union Jack-inspired outfits on stage, but earlier on posed for a snap with Bizarre’s Howell and told him about how special it is to have their manager on side.
Lauren said: “We are in very safe hands with him.
“He has some experience with girlbands, just a little bit. We have some big shoes to fill.”
They have spent the last week on a European promo tour and with just over a month to go until the grand final in Basel, Switzerland, they have a packed schedule ahead of them.
But they insist it’s water off a duck’s back for them.
Lauren explained: “A normal working week for us for so long has been eight shows a week.
“We’ve all come from a musical theatre background so we’re feeling OK. People keep saying, ‘Careful you don’t burn your voices out,’ but somehow they’re still going. We’re feeling good.”
But Holly conceded: “When we’re together, we love a tequila before a show.”
Although on the prospect of a shot before going live to almost 200million people next month, she added: “No, we will be good then.”
On what to expect at the final, Charlotte teased: “Because of our theatre backgrounds, we’ll definitely be taking some of that onto the stage to bring the drama and the excitement – and it’s very girly.”
The countdown is on.
Coldplay Chris: I struggle
COLDPLAY’s Chris Martin has told how he is battling depression.
The Fix You singer explained he’s turned to a number of methods to keep him “grateful and feel happy to be alive” amid the band’s ongoing world tour.
Taking to Instagram, Chris said: “I’ve noticed a few people recently, including myself, struggling a bit with depression so I was going to tell you a few things that have been helping me.”
Chris has revealed he’s started doing freeform writing which sees him writing his thoughts for 12 minutes and burning them.
He’s also started doing transcendental meditation and listening to music by Jon Hopkins, who has created special pieces “for psychedelic therapy”.
Coldplay play Wembley Stadium this summer and we can’t wait to see them.
Billie: Bro and me are Psycic
BILLIE EILISH has spent so long working and touring with her singer-songwriter brother Finneas they can now read each other’s minds.
That’s what Billie claimed in a new interview with British Vogue yesterday, anyway.
Asked if they can tell what the other is thinking, she said: “Yes, all the time! I mean it’s the sibling thing, you know?
“We look at each other in silence and we both know we’re thinking the same exact thing.
“It happens constantly.
“He can also read my mind when writing and creating together. He knows what I’m thinking and feeling before I even know it.”
She added: “My favourite thing is being around people I love, people that make me laugh and make feel whole.
“Like my brother and my mama and my dad.
“They are the ones when it gets too much. Finneas makes everything better.”
Swift return with 12th album
TAYLOR SWIFT might be keeping a low profile since wrapping up her 149-date Eras Tour but she’s not sitting back and putting her feet up.
The Anti-Hero singer is said to be already working on her twelfth album.
A now deleted Instagram comment by Universal Music Sweden claimed that violinist and conductor Erik Arvinder had been in the studio with Taylor.
You might be scratching your heads about who the hell he is, but Erik has a pretty impressive list of music contacts in his phone book and has worked with stars including Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and The Weeknd.
Given Taylor’s last record, The Tortured Poets Department, was epic, we have high hopes for what’s coming next.
Charli’s gig dig
CHARLI XCX was high on the line-up at Coachella this weekend – but the singer has infuriated people with her tongue-in-cheek afterparty outfit.
She had one of the most talked-about sets at the festival in California and was joined on stage by special guests Billie Eilish, Lorde and Troye Sivan.
Charli then let her hair down afterwards wearing a sash which read: “Miss Should Be Headliner”.
Now she’s had abuse from losers online who reckon it’s a dig at Green Day, who topped the bill after her on Saturday evening.
It’s in a sad world when you can’t even joke about something like that any more.
But actually, after an incredible year and a back catalogue stretching well over a decade, Charli has earned the right to be a headliner now.
