Hailey Van Lith Turns Heads With Outfit Before WNBA Draft
On Monday, April 14 some of the best - now former - women's college basketball players gathered on the red carpet for the 2025 WNBA draft.
Former UConn star Paige Bueckers is the overwhelming favorite to be the first player selected, leaving plenty of intrigue for what happens when she's off the board. Among the players expected to go in the first round is former Louisville turned LSU turned TCU star Hailey Van Lith.
Van Lith was the Big 12 player of the year and league tournament MVP last season while averaging 17.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists in leading the Horned Frogs to their first Elite Eight.
During the NCAA tournament, Van Lith made headlines when she opened up about her struggles with mental health.
“When I was younger and in college, I was suicidal," Van Lith revealed during an interview TCU's locker room shared on X on March 23. "I was heavily medicated and I felt trapped, and you would never know because I was having a ton of success on the court, but internally, and in life in general, I was ready to be done. To come from that to this is incredible."
Now she's preparing for the next step of her career - and turning heads in the process. She arrived at the draft in a stunning black dress that caught the attention of fans everywhere as the video racked up over 320,000 views in less than two hours.
