Stuyvesant Plaza café to celebrate grand reopening
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Peaches Café in Stuyvesant Plaza will soon be having its grand reopening after closing in early January for two months of renovations. The café will unveil the new transformations on April 21 at 8 a.m.
Originally opening in 1982 as an ice cream shop serving fresh sandwiches and waffles, the café transformed into a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating that serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge said the plaza is excited to join the café to reveal the interior and exterior changes.
"This Plaza staple has been serving a delectable variety of comfort food for more than four decades, and while its appearance has been beautifully updated, it still embodies the same warmth and familiarity our guests have always loved," Ferluge said. "We’re confident the new look will be warmly welcomed by the community.”
Peaches Café has also become a staple in the Capital Region for its dessert selection. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
