KATY Perry choked back tears after returning from her history-making space mission earlier this week.
The American pop star, 40, was one of six women in the all-female crew who soared 62 miles above Earth on Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket for an 11-minute trip.
The mum-of-two looked overwhelmed as she stepped out of the capsule, pausing to kiss the ground in a powerful moment of reflection.
Clutching a single daisy in her hand, the Grammy winner later revealed the meaning behind the gesture – a touching nod to her daughter, Daisy, with actor Orlando Bloom, 48.
She also explained she carried it with her into space because daisies are “strong,” “powerful” and “resilient” flowers.
But while the Hot N Cold hitmaker said the space mission was “the highest high”, it’s safe to say Katy has also had her fair share of highs in the bedroom.
The first woman to notch up five No1 singles from one album on the US Billboard Hot 100, the dark-haired beauty is also not one to be shy about her intimate life.

During an emotional speech at the Human Rights Campaign gala in March 2017, the pop sensation let slip some juicy details about her sexuality.

Katy confessed not just to kissing a girl but something more, admitting it was hard to come to terms with such experiences given her deeply religious upbringing.
“Truth be told, I did more than that!” Katy teased, when asked about kissing a girl.
“But how was I going to reconcile that with the gospel-singing girl raised in youth groups that were pro conversion camps?
“What I did know was that I was curious, and even then I knew that sexuality was not as black and white as this dress.
“But in 2008, when that song came out, I knew that it started a conversation that a lot of the world seemed curious enough to sing along to it.”
Katy, then 32, opened up about her religious upbringing by her pastor parents Mary and Keith, telling of how she “prayed the gay away at Jesus camps”.
However, she said her “bubble started to burst” as she met new people.
She went on: ”These people were nothing like I had been taught to fear. They were the most free, strong, kind, and inclusive people that I have ever met.
“They stimulated my mind, and they filled my heart with joy, and they danced with joy while doing it. These people are actually, magic, and they are magic because they are living their truth.”
‘Wild stallion’ hubby
Katy and Orlando have been a solid item for years, with the The Lord Of The Rings hunk proposing on Valentine’s Day in 2019.
Although the couple have not yet tied the knot, they’ve since welcomed little Daisy Dove Bloom into the world in 2020.
But while fans are still waiting for their epic wedding, it’s safe to say that Katy and Orlando certainly don’t hold back in the bedroom.

On an Australian radio programme, the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer was quizzed whether Orlando had calmed down after Daisy’s birth.
Katy’s response on the Kyle And Jackie O Show was cheeky, as she chuckled: “He’s not changed one bit!”
She added: “You can’t put reins on that man! He’s a wild stallion, and that’s how I like it!”
Ranking former lovers
Although Katy and Orlando are now stronger than ever, this hasn’t always been the case, as the duo took a break in March 2017.
Before reigniting the spark in February 2018, the former American Idol judge dropped a bombshell on James Corden’s The Late Late Show – where she ranked former lovers’ prowess in the bedroom.
Unfortunately for her-now fiancee, Orlando secured the second spot – while the top position went to no other than musician John Mayer, whom she was dating on-and-off for three years.
In a frisky revelation, she gushed: “They’re all amazing lovers and I would have sex with all of them after I get out of this place!”
John is renowned for his romances with several A-listers, such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, and bombshell Jessica Simpson.

Katy also made a very NSFW confession in an interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast – about the sex act she exchanges with Orlando for chores.
“If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done all the dishes and closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d**k sucked,” Katy told host Alex Cooper.

Nodding off pre-romp
Before hooking up with heartthrobs John and Orlando, the American star was known for her two-year fling with Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes.
Following their split in 2008, Katy’s 2010 banger Teenage Dream included a track titled Circle the Drain, which threw shade at an ex for falling asleep during pre-game fun, thanks to drug woes.
The fans buzzed with rumours that Travie, now 43, was the muse for this sly lyric, and he later tipped his hat to the gossip mill.
Hitting back with some shade of his own, the Cookie Jar rapper dished to MTV News: “I heard she put out a song that’s about me, or about some old habits or whatever and I look at it like this: I’m just stoked that she finally has a song with some substance on her record.”
