McDonald's Gives Return Date Clue for Beloved Menu Item
McDonald's has confirmed a partial return date for its beloved Snack Wrap menu item.
The company posted the date on its X page.
"Snack wraps 0x.14.2025," the post reads.
The "x" means that McDonald's is withholding the date, while promising it will be released on the 14th day of a month in 2025.
Fans were just happy to learn it's coming back.
The company also responded to fans' positive comments in the comment thread, writing, "Did u ever dream u would see the day when the snack wrap came home."
When another person inquired, "Source?" McDonald's responded, "The McDonald's account."
Another person wrote, "Finally it's been five long years since that glorious wrap has touched my taste buds."
"Soon friend soon," McDonald's promised.
According to People, the Snack Wrap had a 10-year run at McDonald's in the United States from 2006 through 2016.
It "consisted of chicken, shredded lettuce and shredded cheese covered in either ranch or honey mustard and wrapped inside of a tortilla," wrote People, noting that it became a "fan favorite" and "cult favorite."
McDonald's President Joe Erlanger previously told Good Morning America that the company was bringing back the Snack Wrap due to its enduring nostalgia.
"The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025," Erlinger told Good Morning America in December 2024. "This has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product. It will be back in 2025."
He said on the show that he was not giving out the exact date the item is returning for "competitive reasons."
