Stone Cold Steve Austin Offers Look Inside Adrenaline-Fueled Retirement
Stone Cold Steve Austin is giving "riding off into the sunset" a whole new meaning. For him, it's quite literal, thanks to his adrenaline-fueled activities that really get his competitive juices flowing.
The legendary wrestler is giving fans a look at retirement in the Omaha Productions series Stephanie's Places, available to stream now on ESPN+. The 60-year-old invites host Stephanie McMahon to his Texas ranch, where he finds tranquility with his countless chickens, cats and horses. He also houses his podcast studio there.
In Thursday's episode, Stone Cold raves about off-roading racing. He laments the sport came late in his life, but he's making the most of it now that he's done with wrestling. According to Forbes, he discovered the sport in 2023 -- 10 years after he retired from wrestling -- after filming a Super Bowl commercial for Kawasaki.

Not long after, he was out on a field near his home in Nevada racing his own Kawasaki KRX4. He joined a racing team, and at 58 he earned Rookie of the Year honors.
"When you're a rookie at then-58, yeah, it's kind of a kick in the ass," he quips in Stephanie's Places. "
It's palpable the love Stone Cold has for the numerous animals on his farm. The same can be said about his passion for racing.
"God dang I have so much fun in that car," he reveals. "When you strap in that buggy and that adrenaline starts to search at a low key and you smell that race gas and it's performance time, this is just like when I signed up for wrestling."
The episode also looks back at Stone Cold's most iconic moments in professional wrestling, from his debut as The Ringmaster to finding superstardom after rebranding his persona to Stone Cold. He also opened up about his infamous "beer bath," when he drove a Coors Light semi-truck from backstage onto ringside ahead of WrestleMania XV and gave "The Corporation" -- comprised of Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and WWE champion The Rock -- an iconic beer bath.
"That business was so fun. I had such a good time doing it. And the wrestling is the meat of it, right? 'Cause you gotta be able to perform in the ring. That's what you're going around selling. But it's those moments of character-building, which helped build that character of Stone Cold. [They] were so important to me."
