Ben Affleck Has Surprising 3-Word Response to Matt Damon's Ripped 'Odyssey' Pics
At this moment, Christopher Nolan is filming what will maybe become the defining cinematic epic of our time. And, as The Odyssey continues to roll forward in production, photos keep emerging of Matt Damon looking utterly shredded in the title role of the famous Greek hero Odysseus. And now, Damon's best friend since forever has been asked what he thinks of his buddy's shredded physique.
"I miss him," Affleck said on the red carpet of The Accountant 2, when ET asked him how he felt about the shirtless photos of Damon that have circulated. "He looks great, I think it’s going to be a great movie."

Longtime collaborators and friends, Damon and Affleck famously worked together on the career-defining film Good Will Hunting, which proved to be a smash success in 1997.
Since then, both Damon and Affleck's careers have progressed in different ways, but it seems these two bros always have each other's backs.

While being asked about the photos of Damon, Affleck was promoting his new action flick, The Accountant 2, in which Affleck reprises his role as the autistic Christian Wolff, an expert in money laundering. The action thriller co-stars Jon Bernthal as Christian's brother, Cynthia Addai-Robinson as a treasury agent at odds with the "Accountant," and J. K. Simmons as her boss.
The Accountant 2 is set to be one of the slickest new thrillers of the year. It hits theaters on April 25, 2025. Christopher Nolan's version of The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon, will hit theaters on July 17, 2026.
